Describe the different styles of training you do:
My training involves plyometrics and weightlifting to gain power, speed and technique sessions, hills and endurance and circuit training.
Future aims and objectives within your chosen sport:
My main aim for next year is to compete at the UK U23 Championships and also the Commonwealth Games. My future aim is to compete at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.
Training programme (typical week)
Monday – circuits and endurance.
Tuesday – Weightlifting (am) Sprint session (pm)
Wednesday – Plyometrics and Abs circuit
Thursday – Weightlifting (am) Cardio (pm)
Friday – rest day and physio
Saturday – Weightlifting and Abs circuit (am) Cardio (pm)
Sunday – Plyometrics, technique and sprint session
