About Endurance Stack
Tri-athletes and endurance athletes are vastly different animals to the body builder, rugby player or Mixed Martial Artist. An endurance athlete will require slow-burning fuel with the addition of fast-acting “re-fuel” nutrients to use during exercise.
The PhD Tri-athlete/endurance athlete stack combines:
Waxy-Vol: Superb, innovative low GI carbohydrate product, designed to facilitate a slow-release of energy into the bloodstream. Derived from the finest UK barley crop, Waxy Vol is superfine “Enduragrain” designed specifically for the endurance athlete. Use Prior to and leading up to an event or long swim/bike/run: 2 servings (2 scoops)
BCAA’s: Branched Chain Amino Acids: Tried and tested to support muscle recovery and spare glycogen stores, BCAA’s are a must-use for any Tri-Athlete. Use Pre/During/Post race and training: 5 capsules of BCAA’s at each stage.
Battery+/-3: Opposite to Waxy-Vol, Battery+/-3 is fast-acting and should be used during an endurance event such as cycling or running. Ideal to be sipped on when mixed with plenty of water. Use During and/or post race/training: 2 servings (2 scoops)
