Tiramisu Chocolate Cheesecake Protein Brownies

Gone are the days of gulping down a regular protein shake, especially when PhD Nutrition are creating new and exciting flavours that can be included in some of the most indulgent recipes going.

These Tiramisu & Chocolate Cheesecake Protein Brownies are the perfect, enjoyable way to achieve your performance driven goals.


Ingredients

Serves: 9-12

For the brownie base:

  • 100g coconut oil
  • 60g dark chocolate, broken up into pieces
  • 100g rice flour
  • 2 scoops PhD Nutrition Tiramisu Diet Whey Protein Powder or Pharma Whey HT+ Powder
  • 50g stevia or coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the cheesecake topping:

  • 250g Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 50ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons stevia
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder

Method

Prep: 20 min › Cook: 30 min › Ready in: 50 min

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C and grease and line a 9 x 9in baking tin.
  • First make the brownie base: Gently melt the coconut oil and dark chocolate, then set aside for 5 minutes to cool a little.
  • Mix together the rice flour, protein powder, sugar/stevia, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda in a bowl.
  • Now whisk in the melted chocolate mixture along with the eggs, milk and vanilla and stir to combine. Pour this into your prepared tin and spread out evenly.
  • Now make the cheesecake topping: Whisk together the yogurt, egg, milk, vanilla, stevia and cornflour. Pour ¾ of this on top of the brownie mixture to cover. Whisk the cacao/cocoa powder into the remaining mixture then drizzle over in a swirl pattern.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes until firm then leave to cool completely and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  • Cut into 9-12 bars then enjoy!
